Track Sprinter

Ambassador onboarding back story: PainPod first met Jordi at the 2018 Comm Games on the Gold Coast when she was still in High School. From then onwards she started promoting Pain Pod products, essentially becoming an ambassador before there was even an ambassador program in place. This year she qualified to join the AUS u20 Athletics Tour in Europe and will be overseas for 3 weeks competing, off the back of this Jordi was officially signed as a Pain Pod ambassador and we will be supporting her through her overseas tour.

Upcoming events/competitions: As part of the tour she will compete in the England Athletics u20 Championships (17th&18th of June) as well as the U20 International Gala (June 24-25).

Pain Pod Questionnaire (2020):

  1. What have been your biggest accomplishments?

My biggest accomplishments so far in my athletics career have definitely been when

I won the open Women’s Bay Sheffield at 14 years old in 2018. I became the

youngest winner of the Bay Sheffield in history. My second one was getting the sa

state record for the u14 200m.

  1. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years with your running?

I see myself hopefully representing Australia at the Olympics and world

championships. I would also love to be travelling for my sport more and competing in

the diamond league.

  1. What is your favourite PainPod accessory? E.g. Belt, Foot Pads.

My favourite PainPod accessory is the belt because it’s so relaxing and its very

enjoyable to sit down and relax with it on. I could have it on for hours and just rest, it

feels so nice!

  1. What do you use your PainPod for?

I use my PainPod for general recovery after a long week of training and I also use it

for any little niggles and injuries that might come up from comps or training sessions.

  1. Would you recommend PainPod to your family and friends?

I would 100% recommend PainPod to my family and friends, I already do! I feel that

it has helped me with my recovery a lot this season and it can really benefit a lot of

people when they understand what it does.

  1. What advice would you give to your younger self?

Don’t let people define you or put you down, they’re only doing it to make you

weaker, when in reality, I know you are stronger than they think you are. Don’t let the

negative Dinosaurs ruin your life girl! Be a positive Dinosaur!

  1. If someone wanted to get into competitive running, what advice would you

give them?

Just have fun with it! The more you get worked up and the more you take the

criticism harshly, the more you won’t enjoy it anymore. Smile after each run and

always focus on the positive of the race, even if it wasn’t your best, as long as you

know you tried your hardest on the day.
