Meet the Atlantic Waterbirds
We’re Charlie, Ena, Karla & Fiona - four Aussie women gearing up for the challenge of a lifetime: The World’s Toughest Row in December 2026.

What is the World’s Toughest Row?
It’s a 3000-nautical-mile race across the Atlantic Ocean - from La Gomera, Canary Islands to Antigua, Caribbean - completed entirely by rowing!

Training & Recovery Matters:
Big thanks to PainPod for keeping us moving and supporting our recovery as we prepare our bodies for this gruelling challenge. Their technology helps us train harder, recover smarter, and stay race-ready.
Some jaw-dropping facts:
Teams row 2 hours on, 2 hours off - 24/7 - for up to 40 days.
Each rower burns over 5,000 calories per day and can lose 8-10kg during the race.
More people have climbed Everest than have rowed an ocean.
We’ll face 40ft waves, sleep deprivation, blisters, storms… and total isolation - just the four of us and the ocean.

But this journey isn’t just about rowing across an ocean - it’s about resilience, teamwork, and inspiring future Australian teams to take on this global challenge.
We’re proud to row in support of Channel Seven Perth Telethon, raising funds for children’s health and research.
How you can help:
Donations will fund our boat, safety equipment, land support, flights, shipping, and training. When we finish, we’ll sell remaining gear and donate the proceeds to Telethon - turning every stroke into something that helps kids and families in need.
Join us as we row beyond limits, chase every sunrise, and turn this challenge into a legacy of courage, determination & giving.
Follow our journey. Support our cause. Be part of history.
