The cover slips over the PainPod 3 and stays put, so the device is protected without getting in the way of the controls or the ports.

It guards against the everyday scuffs a device picks up in a bag or a drawer. PainPod's own drop testing at 1.2 metres found it reduced the likelihood of damage by more than half - though that's not a guarantee, and it's still worth not dropping it.
