The Bio Socks are woven from stretchable material with conductive fibres running through them, giving a large contact area across the foot and lower leg. That spreads the sensation more evenly than pads can over an awkward shape, and reaches the reflex areas of the foot.

Wear them as a pair, or use a single sock with a pad on one electrode wire when you only need one side. If the sensation feels weak, moisturise or moisten the skin first, or use the Perfect Conductor spray - dry skin is usually the reason.
