• Pads sold as a pair need two points of contact — two pads, or one pad and one glove or sock.
• Single pads have a divide between the two gel areas, so the two points of contact are built in.
• Adhesive gel deteriorates with temperature, humidity, skin type and whether the skin was clean before use.
• Store pads somewhere cool and dry, between 5°C and 27°C. Not in the fridge.
• Clean the skin before applying.
• Pads can be rinsed under a slow trickle of cool water to remove debris.
• Once a pad no longer sticks or conducts properly it needs replacing. Please dispose of it thoughtfully.
• PainPod Conductor Gel may help rehydrate the gel and bring back some stickiness, but worn pads will need replacing eventually.
• Gel pads are intended for single-patient use. Sharing pads risks cross contamination.
• Estimated usage is around 20 applications, or 10–20 hours, per pair.
• The difference between EconoPads and the Premium range is the internal silver grid, which spreads the treatment more evenly across the gel surface.
