The gloves are woven from stretchable material with conductive silver fibres running through them, so the contact area covers the whole hand and wrist rather than the two spots a pair of pads would reach. That suits a shape pads struggle with.

Wear them as a pair, or use a single glove with a pad on one electrode wire when only one hand needs treating. If the sensation feels weak, moisturise or moisten the skin first, or use the Perfect Conductor spray - dry skin on the hands is usually the reason.
